I am constantly amazed that people are forgetting to bring reusable shopping bags to the stores. Paper or Plastic: NEITHER should be a choice! I feel guilty when I have to put a leaky chicken into a plastic bag! But look at the people going out of even WHOLE FOODS with paper bags! It’s not like using paper is such a great alternative! After all, trees are being cut down to make those bags! And think of the energy it takes to produce them, print on them and ship them! They are heavier than plastic, and therefore it takes more fuel to ship them!

Remember, you can’t throw plastic “away”. It NEVER biodegrades; only photodegrades into smaller and smaller pieces.
